Joining the Retirees’ Club
If you are a Retired Laborer you probably have a list of plans and projects a mile long… but, before you do anything else, put Local 1309’s Retirees’ Club on the top of that list.
Local 1309 has established a Retirees’ Club as a means for you to keep in touch with your old friends and coworkers. Just because you left the job site doesn’t mean that you have to leave behind the friendships you have built over the years.
Let the Retirees’ Club help you enjoy your retirement a little bit more with:
- Retiree Club bus trips to Las Vegas, Laughlin and the various casinos around Southern California for day and overnight trips
- Fishing trips, picnics, potlucks and other great events!
The club is also an important means of communicating for what is happening in local, state, and federal elections and any possible changes to Retiree Pensions and Benefits.
For just $5.00 you and your spouse can open the door to fun and exciting times with other retirees from Local 1309. Many exciting activities are being planned with you in mind. Your name will be added to our mailing list to keep you informed of all current events.
Come down to the Union Hall or call (562) 421-9346 for more information. We look forward to seeing you all at our next club activity!
